Applying decals to Prism I/ Prism II Enclosure  (United Kingdom)
Modified By PGreen on 2/14/2010 10:59:03 AM)

Hi, How would I go about applying decals (just text) to the Prism I and Prism II enclosures?

Thanks,

Re: Applying decals to Prism I/ Prism II Enclosure  (N/A)

hey PGreen,

waterslide ones I'm assuming.  Follow the directions for the waterslide decals, then just coat with clear (rattle can clear poly is fine, it won't react to the finish)  The only other advice I could give is if you buy a finished enclosure, choose one with a gloss finish (smooth).  The hammers have a bit of texture and that can cause issues with bubbles under the decal.

Would I just be able to use paint marker instead because I will most probably only purchase the hammer enclosure because that look great. Also, do you have drilling templates for Prism I/Prism II Enclosure?

Cheers,

That would work, for sure, you could still clear coat over it if you wanted it to be more durable.  No templates yet for the Prism series....

i find a layer of clearcoat on the case BEFORE applying the decal helps make it sit better on the hammerite finish.
