Hi Everyone,
When drilling the Prism series enclosures, place a block under the enclosure under where you are drilling, especially when doing the stomp switch holes. These enclosures are folded steel and reasonably thick, but if there is enough pressure placed on the front of the unsupported enclosure, you can collapse the front folds. Using the block will keep this from happening, and prevent much swearing and throwing of stuff. Also, a drill press is a necessity, you could seriously hurt yourself.
Other tips:
1) Use good bits.
2) Slow the drill press down to approx. 900 rpm, especially for the larger holes.
3) Use cutting oil.
4) Clamp the enclosure down to the press table. (Safety 1st people!)
Thanks,
m.
